A column of links, one a row with a chevron at the end, like an account's quick links.
Master
A record's quick links. Each row is one link with a chevron; Variants show icons, descriptions and links that open in a new tab.
Usage
Use LinkList for a short set of places to go from a page, like Quick links in a record's rail or related pages under a heading. It is one component: pass items, each with an id and a label, and href or onClick. icon puts a brand icon before the label; description adds a short line under it; external opens the link in a new tab and swaps the chevron for the new-tab mark. Put it in a Section, which gives it its title and box; the list draws no card of its own and its labels line up with the Section title. label names the list for screen readers, like Quick links. For a single link in text use Link; for actions use Buttons or a Dropdown. See contracts/linklist.json for the full contract.
Do's
- Quick links in a record's side rail.
- A few related pages to jump to from a settings or detail page.
Don'ts
- Do not use it for actions that change data. Use Buttons or a Dropdown.
- Do not use it for page navigation across the app. Use AppNav or Tabs.
- Do not put it in a Card or draw a box round it yourself. Put it in a Section.
- Do not build a list of Links or a one-column Table for quick links. Use LinkList.
- Do not use raw hex.
